Umrah for an Al-Aqsa Hafiz
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, 鈥淲hoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.鈥 [Tirmidhi]
An amazing opportunity has just come up. We are giving you the chance to help Palestinian Hifz students visit the House of Allah (swt) in Makkah.
Alhamdulillah, we have been sponsoring young Muslims from disadvantaged backgrounds in Palestine on their journey to memorise the Book of Allah. Help us take 30 of our top Qur鈥檃n students on 鈥橴mrah this month where they will visit the Sacred Masjids in Makkah and Madinah and other historic sites.
For just £600, you can sponsor this life-changing journey which will be a memory for them to cherish for the rest of their lives, whilst inspiring them to excel in their journey with the Qur鈥檃n.
Our Hifz students are from East Jerusalem, where 70% of families are living below the poverty line. Receiving the rewards of 鈥橴mrah, of bringing joy to a Muslim, and of relieving a burden from a believer are just some of the benefits of getting involved 鈥 an opportunity you cannot miss.

Significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa
Illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid!
The Prophet (saw) was asked, 鈥業f one of us cannot visit it (Al-Aqsa), what should we do?鈥 He (saw) said, 鈥楾hen he should make a gift of some oil to be lit therein [in its lamps]. For indeed the one who gifts this to it will be like the one who has prayed therein [worth 1,000 prayers]鈥. [Ahmad]
Alhamdulillah, you have been supporting our work at Masjid Al-Aqsa since 2008! You have sponsored olive trees, renovated wudu areas, illuminated various parts of the Masjid and helped us carry out essential maintenance and repair work.
Now, we are honoured to invite you to an incredible opportunity - illuminating the Dome of the Rock Masjid! Located at the centre of the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa complex, it is believed to be the exact place where the Prophet (saw) was ascended into the heavens on Al-Isra wal-Mi鈥檙aj!
You can help us preserve this historic site, by installing a state-of-the-art lighting system in all central areas for decades to come, in sha Allah!
The total cost of installing the lighting system is £2.5 million - and you have already given over £1.3 million! With this Sadaqah, our partners hope to begin Phase 1 soon. This will illuminate the Main Prayer Hall, the ceiling and arcs, the front and the internal corners.
We highly encourage you to give to this blessed lighting project! It is not only an immense Sadaqah Jariyah, it also carries the reward of praying in Masjid Al-Aqsa - worth a thousand prayers!
Don鈥檛 miss out on these blessings! Give now to illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid on behalf of yourself or a loved one.
So far, you have given 2,764 shares to the Dome of the Rock lighting project. 2,445 shares are still available - don't miss out!

Renovate the Bab al-Qattanin Wudu Area
Alhamdulillah, we have been honoured to renovate a few of Masjid Al-Aqsa wudu areas - such as the one pictured on the left. We are currently fundraising to听renovate the Bab al-Qattanin Wudhu Area听- which is听in听the Noble Sanctuary itself.
Located at the eastern side of the Masjid, it is 168 square metres and will serve 1,000 worshippers every hour, ma sha Allah!
听
The wudu area is in a poor state right now, as you can see in听this video. It walls and doors need repairing, its sewage and plumping need to be improved and we must elevate its quality so it is worthy of the Noble Sanctuary.
Give now to share in the Sadaqah Jariyah!

Renovating the Bab ar-Rahmah Cemetery
鈥楢nd whoever honours the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts鈥. [Quran, 22:32]
Bab ar-Rahmah was established at the time of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra), and is thus around 1,400 years old!
Covering 11,000 square metres, it includes the graves of Sahabah such as Ubadah ibn Samit (ra), the first Islamic judge of Shaam and al-Quds, among 70 other Companions, leaders, martyrs and scholars.
Martyrs from many armies who defended Jerusalem are also buried here, as well as Turk Muslims who lived and died in Ottoman times.
Join us in preserving this significant Islamic landmark! Here's what your Sadaqah Jariyah can do:
- 拢100 renovates 5 square metres
- 拢200 renovates 10 square metres
- 拢500 renovates 25 square metres
